Yesterday I was so full of enthusiasm to go and seek for lalas at Bagan Lalang. Woke up at 7.15 am to get ourselves ready, took all of our tools, food and drinks, went and bought a few straw hats (hehe 'summer' hats) at a hardware shop (yeah, they r those 'painter' hats actually, hehehe). We went 'collecting' my mom and stepdad, and met up with Calvin's collegue's family, Bernard & family (blurry looking guy) at his mom's porridge shop. We were all 10 in a group.
We arrived at Bagan Lalang approximately 10.35am, it was a new place for me, for I have not known there was such a place, a beach near Sepang. The sea was erm... as usual.. 'Malaysian beach', but the breeze was tantalizing. I love beaches, I love the sunshine at the beach, the salty air,and the wide horizon of calmness of the sea.
To pick the clams, we have to wait for the tide to go out farther into the sea at 12-2pm. So Calvin and I went and bought a kite, (my first kite, i never flew a kite before, hehe) and went kite flying, fly fly fly, then i got bored... Hehehe, then there goes the kite into the car booth. We had some light lunch of nasi lemak, fried meehoon, sandwiches and fruits. Then it was time for the hunt to begin.
We took all of our tools, our straw hats and buckets out to the humongous golden shore. Then we begun scrapping the surface of the beach. Whenever you hear a "kruekkk", there will you find your price. The sun was blazing and my skin was roasting to an 'almost done' steak. My enthusiasm towards the clams were running low. You need to use almost all of your arm's strength to scrape the beach. We were out for almost 2 hours before we call for a quit to the search. We found approximately 30 pieces of clams, enough for a group of 4 to feast on it. It ain't easy after all to seek for clams.
Some of us went and took a shower, some went chilling under the trees. I went and took a shower, i tasted like a 'mermaid'... hahahaha salty i meant. And when i stripped off to have my shower, my god was i so tanned. I was wearing a low cut top with a short to have some tan done. If i had a beautiful gorgeous body like Jessica Alba, i would have worn a bikini and get myself the bikini-tan. Gah~!!
After some clean ups, we headed back home. My, my arms sore so much it hurts so badly. And because of that, i had to skip my gym session today. And my skin is sensitively burning, but i enjoyed the tan... hehehe.
Conclusion, it is kinda fun seeking for clams, if we had the correct tool, our arms wouldn't have hurt that bad. Should have gotten ourself a rake, easier that way. No hunks spotted, neither any bombshells. Tiring but was a fun adventure.
I'm gonna need to shift house soon. Darn, don't ask why. So, I won't be able to be online and update my blog frequently enough. Don't miss me, kih kih kih... Love you my friends, muack!!

Hmm.. clam hunting, they actually have those huh?! I think the last time i went hunting for anything was back in Form 3. A friend invited us over to his 'kampung' to got eel hunting for dinner. Apparently, they taste like regular Bawal. He failed to inform us that they were electric eels. Needless to say, trying to eat dinner with a burned hand was tricky business. Aww..you're moving?! How come?!
